Spanish term or phrase: Los ciclos de los productos
Los ciclos de los productos en las tiendas avanzan ... once again it's a case of knowing what it means but not how to say it. It's the reason for hosting a fair earlier than usual.

English translation:Products (collections) are presented earlier in the shops and...
Explanation:
ok, so now we know it is about clothing collections, that helps, because clothes don't have a product lifecycle!

Or you could say, "As collections are launched earlier in store..."

product (life) cycles

Explanation:
Marketing:
The product life cycle is defined by four phases

Introduction
growth
maturity
decline

A fairly "childish" example would be Pokemon cards, where the popularity of Pikachu and Raichu cards might be on the decline (one day!). Outlets are offered and agree to sell new products proposed by the manufacturers, distributors as the sales of older products start to decline (or simply because the product depends on constant renovation, or has a limited shelf-life etc.)

agree  E. David Curiel (X): Without further context, I would agree.

agree  Comunican: Having been given more context, I agree this will work. But still, there are different ways it could be expressed depending on the overall context. Context often counts as much as the words!

-> with or without context, rarely can you ever be truly sure. In the end there is never any substitute for the text, the whole text and nothing but the text.

Product life cycle

Explanation:
From your additional comment I think it's the <A HREF="http://www.quickmba.com/marketing/product/lifecycle/"&g... life cycle</A> you're looking for. You need to sell any remaining stock while there's still an interest in that particular product - or you may not get it sold at all.

Example sentence(s):
  • A new product progresses through a sequence of stages.. known as the product life cycle

neutral  Antony Price: My understanding is that all products have a life cycle. Clothes certainly have a product life cycle / a fashion cycle http://www.witiger.com/marketing/PLC.htm Perhaps the point is that product cycle is appropriate and product life cycle is going too far.

-> Yes, I agree. The problem we have been wrestling with here is lack of context, and it seems the asker is doubtful about whether "product lifecycle" is right, though I wholeheartedly agree with you that it is an accurate literal translation
