I'm thinking along the lines of "cash", but the second isntance is confusing me a bit. Any help much appreciated.

'Efectivos' is commonly used to mean the staff employed by a company. This seems to be the meaning here becauae productivity is measured in terms of output (or sales, as in this case) per employee.

'Por efectivo' would be 'in cash' in Spanish but not as far as I know in Portuguese.

I'm also thinking 'tangible' in terms of your second sentence (yes, I see the confusion), "...going from xxx,x amounts to yyy,yy amounts of millions of tangible Euros, corresponding to an increase of 7% in relation to the previous year." Or, maybe even better, just to omit the need for any further expression of real/actual/tangible Euros in the second instance. HIH.
