tart = scanno for tant such is the extent to which... Explanation: I have to put conf. level 1 = guessing, but I feel pretty sure! As CMJ says, there are other errors in the text, but it seems to be 'tant la frontière... est tenue' My suggestion above is only to give you an idea of the general notion of the cnstruction with 'tant' in this instance, of course it will need adapting to your final sentence structure! |
