Explanation:
¡Qué se le va a hacer! ¡Detrás de mi amabilidad no había más que hostilidad!

Esta forma de traducir el "so much for", viene en el Gran Larousse Ing-Esp.

Creo que si es una psicoanalista la que habla, ya habrá conocido, re-conocido y superado esa hostilidad.

Y -con todo respeto- creo que esta versión suena un poquito más fluida que las que se propusieron.
