Se dice que una torta o budin estan "firmes" cuando ya se los puede desmoldar sin que pierdan la forma.

No soy nativa, pero... Como budín de pan lleva una mezcla que funciona como natillas, ¿no se podría usar el verbo "cuajar"?

agree  Ileana Quiroga: Firme me parece correcto, aunque en vez de, haya crecido, pondría leve aunque en un budín de pan nada crece o leva, solo toma consistencia y se hace más firme.

  -> Es verdad, "levar" es la palabra correcta. Coincido en que el budín de pan generalmente no leva, pero en esta receta decía "expands".
