Programul asigura copiilor din centrele Bistrita si Nasaud activitati zilnice sustinute de catre kinetoterapeut, psiholog, reflexolog. Pentru copiii plasati la asistenti maternali programul include vizite saptamanale ale lucratorilor sociali (Outreach Workers), oferirea de echipament necesar copiilor cu dizabilitati si derularea de activitati de recuperare si terapie/consiliere psihologica inclusiv la domiciliul acestora.

asa cum zice Anca,trebuie facuta diferenta intre "social workers" si "outreach workers"( in general mai putin specializati si deci mai prost platiti)
eu am incercat sa propun o varianta mai scurta si am lasat traducerea vaga pentru ca nu stim ce pregatire au acesti lucratori.

Distincţia dintre cele două domenii, îngrijire a sănătăţii (health care) şi îngrijire socială (social care), este destul de dificilă pentru că activităţile sau serviciile care au la bază *to reach out the environment* (abordarea persoanelor în mediul lor) se folosesc în cazul ambelor tipuri. Scopul: rezolvarea problemelor de sănătate şi/sau sociale.
