Per quanto riguarda la traduzione di gesso, non lo tradurrei nè con plaster nè con gypsum perchè non ho trovato alcuna occorrenza di questi termini con capi di abbigliamento. Ho , invece, trovato il termine chalk riferito a gessato: GESSATO (ingl. chalk striped, pron. cialc-straipd) Disegno a righe verticali chiare leggermente sbiadite su fondi scuri, che sembrano tracciate col gesso; usato su flanelle o pettinati follati classici. http://www.paoli.it/ita/supporto/glossario3.htm Ritengo, quindi, che la traduzione che ti ho fornito possa andare bene. Il termine like è fra parentesi perchè nella definizione di gessato si parla di "righe che sembrano tracciate con gesso" quindi il termine like è già implicito nella traduzione "chalk striped". Ho applicato lo stesso discorso per la traduzione che hai richiesto. A meno che non si tratti di gesso vivo spalmato su un vestito! Anche in questo caso il termine like potrebbe essere omesso.
