I'm wondering what the best way to translate this would be.
My instinct is to leave out "sportive" altogether, but I maybe wrong and my mind is a bit slow this morning.

Thanks Graham - I've used this before, that's the worst of it. I was definitely brain dead yesterday :-) Yacht racing was good too, but didn't fit the context quite so well. Thanks to everyone!
