Explanation:
Normalerweise wuerde ich "mit Fassung tragen" sagen, aber in diesem Zusammenhang nimmt die Person anscheinend Komplimente entgegen.

Explanation:
The phrase is usually "to take something in one's stride". My dictionary translates that as "mit etwas spielend umgehen", but I'm not sure if that fits here, so I'm going with the suggestion from www.leo.org
I know very well what is meant by the English, but I'm struggling to find a good German equivalent!
