French term or phrase: grande écoute de mon client
From a Canadian manager's CV:

"Leadership veut dire pour moi grande écoute de mon client, relation étroite et de confiance, objectivité et alternatives, explication claires des possibilités avec des instruments de mesure en lien avec les critères de décision de mon client."

Now, I have only ever seen the phrase "grande écoute" in Canadian French used to mean peak TV/radio audience periods. Does it mean something special here? Or does it just mean "listening to my client"?

grande = closely

Si tu as une solution, je suis à grande écoute = If you have a solution, I'll be paying close attention (listening carefully)

"attentive" is more than "listening", if that indeed was your suggestion

neutral  ormiston: in answer I think it merely emphasises the degree of attentiveness. Perhaps 'highly' but is it an issue ?
