Don't you think it's true though ? That within any community there are certain people that are opinion setters, and because of the respect that that opinion receives some of the less dominant people will then adopt that position so they can become more strongly identified with the group

The worst thing is that opinion setters seldom realize soon enough that they are being abused, exploited, taken for a ride, whereas an influence broker laughs all the way to the bank.
