"En ce qui concerne les dépôts à découvert et les dépôts cachetés, les engagements de la Banque à l'encontre du déposant sont réglés par la loi.

Si par la faute de la Banque, la perte de valeurs faisant l'objet d'un dépôt cacheté devait survenir, son obligation se limite au paiement de la somme déclarée lors de la constitution du dépôt.

Sont affranchis de droits de garde, les titres de passage, par suite d'achat, de vente, d'échange, de conversion ou d'assemblée générale, pourvu qu'ils soient retirés dans un délai de trente jours après exécution de l'opération ayant occasionné leur dépôt."
