agree  veroperl: terme usuel dans les UK supermarkets pour tous produits promotionnels, soit pour bon rapport qualité-prix (ex vins) soit pour bon rapport quantité-prix(ex chips). Je le perçois comme ça en tout cas.

J'ai vu cette expression utilisée pour vanter les mérites d'un appareil photo... La phrase disait "small size, big value"

=>collection de sacs de grande qualité.

"Big" = grand (pour le sac)

et

"value" = bon rapport qualité prix... mais j'ai le sentiment que c'est surtout l'aspect "petit prix" qui prend le dessus dans ce contexte (sans pour autant que la qualité du produit soit remise en question).

Une autre possibilité existe pour l'ensemble "big value bag collection" : "grande collection de sacs à petit prix". Instinctivement je pencherais pour ma première suggestion, "collection de grands sacs à petit prix", mais il est possible que le contexte révèle une plus forte probabilité pour l'autre solution. Bon courage avec cette phrase ambigue !

  -> Bien que "big value" existe, il est beaucoup plus courant de parler de "good value" ou "high value". Ceci dit, il est vrai que "big" ne va pas forcément avec "bag", puisque la logique grammaticale permet aussi de l'appliquer à "collection" !
