Spanish term or phrase: rasgado y entorchado
Estoy haciendo la traducción de un informe escolar de un niño con necesidades especiales. En el apartado en cuestión se refieren al "trozado, rasgado, entorchado de papel" trozado lo he traducido como "tearing" pero no encuentro nada para rasgado y entorchado.

Les agradezco por adelantado cualquier sugerencia

I'd have thought that trozado would be tearing into little bits, whereas rasgado would be tearing into strips. Entorchado not normally used with paper in my experience, but here it would be rolling up.

I'd have thought that trozado would be tearing into little bits, whereas rasgado would be tearing into strips. Entorchado not normally used with paper in my experience, but here it would be rolling up.

agree  beatricepeaslee: I would combine "rasgado" and "entorchado" to just "tearing", which would make it "tearing and rolling of paper".

  -> Strikes me as a good idea - it's all fiddling with paper and of course in the absence of the specific word "tear" in Spanish for this context...
