Cel putin asa se traduce "lead time" (a se vedea marele Dictionar tehnic roman-englez al Editurii tehnice).

Daca cumva "long" face cumva parte din sintagma, adaugand ceva deosebit la sensul expresiei, ramane de vazut - altfel ar fi pur si simplu "timp indelungat..."

A se vedea si termenul "long lead time item", care desemneaza un element (marfa, de exemplu) a care procurare necesita un timp indelungat de la comanda la livrare.
