Embora por cá costumem ser zonas separadas, nos supermercados, claro, pois não sei de que tipo de loja se trata. Outra hipótese seria caixas (de pagamento)/zona de embrulhos.

Nesse caso, diria zona de pagamento/embrulhos

Não creio que seja correcto embalagem (que aliás seria "pack" no original), porque embalados já muitos produtos vêm. Trata-se do tradicional "embrulho para oferta", na minha opinião. Boa sorte!

Quando me dirigi ao balcão para pagar, entreguei a camisola dizendo “É para oferecer.”. A empregada não olhou sequer para mim e, ao meter a camisola num saco, disse friamente “Aqui não fazemos embrulhos”. Fiquei furiosa e ao sair da loja pensei que nunca mais lá punha os pés, independentemente da qualidade dos produtos, que sei que é boa.»
