French term or phrase: sas de déchargement
...les citernes stationnent sous couvert, la toiture du sas de déchargement étant protégé des oiseaux par un filet.

I'm wondering if it's correct to call it an airlock unloading area. Thanks for your help and suggestions =)

English translation:unloading bay
Explanation:
I actually wonder if it IS a "sas" in the strictest sense. I don't understand why it would have to be. Surely the wine is unloaded via hoses, so no risk of contamination from the environment. I also wonder what the relevance of the bird netting on the roof is. There is a roof; so why the netting?

If it is NOT a "sas" (and even if it is!) it might be called an unloading BAY. A few ghits for that in the winery context.

There's even a picture here of a "loading bay" which could well be a "sas":

agree  Sarah Llewellyn: This is what I was thinking, too. (I can see why they would have the bird netting if the area has a very high celing, but the netting isn't exactly going to prevent stuff, um, dropping down into the grapes, is it? All adds to the flavour, no doubt.
