Japanese term or phrase: Non-subject sentence
How do you handle non-subject sentence in the following case?
ビデオクリップコンテンツの再生を行う際には, 自動的にビデオクリップ再生画面に遷移し, 音楽コンテンツ再生時には音楽再生画面に遷移する。
Do you translate it by passive voice, or add a subject (system, application, or it). And I am especially wondering if it can be used as the subject in the said sentence.

English translation:Add the subject
Explanation:
Sometimes it is acceptable to omit the subject by employing the passive voice, but here I would add an appropriate subject such as "the player" or "the device."

Susan: The subject I was referring to was the one in the phrase where the player automatically switches over to the video clip playback screen.

Subject is "YOU"

Explanation:
Basically I agree with Mark when he says "add subject". So I thought about voting "agree".
But this question loomed up on my head:
Does this device (player of some sort as it sounds) do the action of 再生 by itself, or operator (human)?

ビデオクリップコンテンツの再生を行う際には, 自動的にビデオクリップ再生画面に遷移し, 音楽コンテンツ再生時には音楽再生画面に遷移する。

To me it looks like the operator, a human who plays the plyaer does the 再生 job, not the player.

Unsolicited side note:
In Japanese sentence it is totally acceptable writing w/o subject (as you may already have noticed).
Subject's whereabout is so tacitly agreed and well hidden (though it is so evident to them), it is only us J to E translator who has to go out for hunt.
