Describing a meal provided at a Japanese inn. I know what it means, but I'd like to find a catchy way to say it since they put it in quotes.

Thanks, everyone. I appreciate all the comments as well. I like Ruth's suggestion, but I think it's a bit too succinct in the context. I think I will go with aroma instead of fragrance as conejo suggests.
