Spanish term or phrase: perfiles

- metal sections

(4) El modelo constructivo conocido como "rain screen" consta de una o dos placas de cartón yeso fijadas a perfiles - attached or affixed to flashings

Ver págs. 8 y 12 con ref. a flashings.

sections
Explanation:
This is the general term. It can be rolled sections, such as in structural steel, or extruded sections for steel and other metals, such as light framework, gutters, flashing, etc. Sections can be formed in U-shapes, C-channels, square, tubular and many more.

I used both flashings (from a very specific website explaining the making of facades with the "rain screen method" and sections. In any event, this was a correction of someone else's translation, and I will not do that again...

Thank you, biged, for your help.

structural steel

Explanation:
For (2) I would say 'tubular sections of structural steel' or simply 'steel tubing'. For the others, I would suggest 'structural steel members.' (member translates as 'viga' in my Oxford dictionary) or simply structural steel.
Flashing as I understand it is something different. It is a thinner, more flexible sheet metal, whether galvanized or copper, placed at roof edges and in roof valleys to prevent water infiltration.

Example sentence(s):
  • The noun structural steel has one meaning:a strong steel that is rolled into shapes that are used in construction

Notes to answerer
Asker: I did find flashings for walls as well... I thought as you did, that you only used them for roofs... I do like the structural steel members rather than sections...

agree  Jennifer Levey: Yes - and in item 4, flashing would not be OK since flashings are functional (for water or draught-proofing, etc.) or decorative but are not 'structural' and would not have plaster-boards fixed to them.
