Quando colocamos a embalgem sobre esta lâmina, ela fecha a embalagem, deixando umas marcas que as pessoas do ramo chamam de "serrilhado". É o serrilhado de pacotes de biscoito, de pescado, por exemplo, que são embalados neste sistema.
