FYI Explanation: It means to clean the part of a car with a clean nozzle, bacause the dirt may enter into the part being cleaned. |

Without getting the nozzle clogged with dirt/residue (this also prevents water spots on vehicle) Explanation: Alternatively: "keeping/protecting the spray nozzle from getting clogged (this also prevents water spots on vehicle)" Casey, I am giving this a try but it's quite difficult without having more info. In any case your question seems to imply "that the nozzle is not clogged with dirt/residue when washing the car because of some device/system. But, I cannot exactly gather from your question how this is done. The below website is a way of keeping the nozzle clean for washing cars (and preventing spotting after washing because of the clean nozzle.).... http://www.google.co.th/search?hl=en&q=self cleaning car was... The reclaim systems usually contains four tanks that capture the water being used to wash the vehicles, as the dirt and road grime get rinsed off the vehicles it drains into these tanks. The filters are installed on the last of the series of tanks removing all dirt particles prior to the water being pumped back to wash the vehicles. By using filtered water to wash the vehicles it helps eliminate spotting on the vehicles. These water spots are an eyesore on clean vehicles. Filtered water also protects spray nozzles from getting clogged and causing the car wash to shut down. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2007-04-11 07:56:28 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Just got your note, Casey. We're having a tropical storm!! The electricity go out...! Let me see again....This is what I surmise, given your question... I think that the surface of the car has to be perfectly clean before applying the water-sheeting coat. So, in order to get the car perfectly clean, one would need a nozzle that is perfectly clean (un-clogged --no residue--no dirt) to prevent any kind of residue from getting onto the surface before going onto the next process. And so far, so good with the raging storm. :-) |

until dirt can no longer be seen on the nozzle (until the water runs clean) Explanation: 入り組んだ部分 means the intricate, fiddly bits. Cars have plenty of these, such as all the trims, grille, door handles, behind the wheels, mud flaps, mags, etc. You can imagine that when you first spray these parts with the nozzle, the grime and dirt will splash back onto the nozzle and the water running off will appear dirty. So 汚れが残らないように in your sentence may mean 汚れが見えなくなるまで, as in "Wash all the fiddly bits <insert appropriate descriptive phrase here> thoroughly until the water runs clean (until dirt can no longer be seen on the nozzle.) ノズルに汚れが残らないように、入り組んだ部分も丁寧に洗車します。 |
