Etiquetado facultativo - appears in a list of EU-recognised food and drink labels and protection (designations of origin, protected geographical indications, etc.) and is used, in this context for veal - is there an "official" translation for this in English? Thanks!

Hablando del Reglamento de Etiquetado de Vacuno CE nº 1760/2000, este documento explica lo siguiente:
"El mismo reglamento establece la posibilidad de que exista otro tipo de etiquetado, de carácter voluntario, que se ha denominado "etiquetado facultativo..."

No sé si "optional labelling" es un término "oficial", pero lo encontré recogido en los siqguientes documentos:
