It obviously doesn't mean drape (the only translation I can find), but what does it mean here? Might it mean laminate?

My context
Es ist nicht erlaubt Eindrapierwerkzeuge oder die Lagen mit Laminiercreme zu beschichten.

Die Prepreg- und Klebefilmlagen sind während der Eindrapierarbeiten vor Verunreinigung zu schützen.

Es wird eine Lage Kupfer-Mesh nach der Laserprojektion je nach Größe des Bauteils drapiert,...

...und mittels Heißluftfön faltenfrei drapiert.

Richtungsänderungen im Kupfer werden geknickt...
...oder als Überlappungen ausgeführt.
In beiden Fällen wird der Folienkleber komplett überlappend drapiert.
Je nach Angaben in den Fertigungsunterlagen müssen Aufnahmelaschen drapiert werden.

It certainly means to cover something, taking account of folds etc. Perhaps you can get around it by using 'draping process', if it was 'laminating', they most likely would used it. Besides, drapes (Gardinen) is an English word and they just germanized it.
