Meine anderen Fragen sind noch offen, auch wenn die Übersetzung schon abgegeben ist. Peer comments on this answer (and responses from the answerer) neutral  Francis Lee (X): Unwahrscheinlich: bei "proven" war mein erster Gedanke "bewährt". Man denke an ein "proving ground" - ein Gelände wo Autoprototypen sich bewähren müssen. ;-) 7 mins   -> Es ging mir nur um "winner", als "proven winner" werden auch mehrfache Sieger bei irgendwelchen Wettbewerben bezeichnet. Ansonsten ist klar, dass es sich um ein nachweislich verkaufsstarkes, also bewährtes Produkt handelt (siehe mein agree bei David).
