METI-designated traditional craftsperson Explanation: Hidekazu Inoue, who IS a 伝統工芸士 himself, uses this on his bilingual website. http://www.inoue-hakatadoll.com/hidekazu/hidekazu.htm 経済産業省認定 伝統工芸士 METI-designated traditional craftsperson. I couldn't see any METI-specific terminology for the actual title, however METI does use "Traditional Craft Industry Office" for 伝統工芸品産業室 so it seems logical. HTH a little. |
