Taste auf dem Bedienfeld einer Papierschneidemaschine.
Das Zeichen sieht aus wie mehrere Blätter Papier übereinander, es steht daneben aber "No function key". Es sieht mir nach Fehler aus - wäre nicht der einzige! - aber natürlich kann ich es nicht so stehen lassen. Hinweise auf "Nicht-Funktionstasten" oder "Leerfunktionstasten" habe ich keine gefunden. Gibt es sowas?
Eine Löschfunktion ist es in jedem Fall nicht, das sind andere Optionen.

Could it be that they are marking the key to say that it is NOT a function key, i.e., it has a permanently assigned meaning?

Softkey seems to be an acceptable term for this, too.

agree  Michael Schulte (X): stimme Steffen zu. Da eine nicht belegte Taste wenig Sinn macht, könnte es sein, dass die Taste belegt werden kann, also programmierbar ist?
