Ultrasound scan is the most commonly used term, followed by ultrasonography or sonography, and echography is the least commonly used by English speakers. Personally, I would never use the word "echography", it just doesn't sound right to me - I studied medicine in Australia.

12 week echography/scan

Explanation:
depending on the formality of your text you can use echography or scan. Lost mothers I know call it a scan although the proper name is echography. Also, they always talk about pregnancies in terms of the number of weeks, so I'd say 12 week echography.

Echography in the first pregnancy trimester

Explanation:
Prenatal echography, amniocentesis, and fetal chromosome analysis are indicated. With prenatal echography, trisomy 21 may be diagnosed in the second and third trimester of pregnancy. The following prenatal echographic findings are suggestive of Down syndrome and may be followed with amniocentesis and fetal chromosome analysis.
