French term or phrase: grandes unités
From the title page of a document about the economic impact of a marina:

"...répondant à la demande Européenne de places et services pour de grandes unités..."

The phrase appears in similar documents I see online, and I wonder whether it has a more acceptable translation than a literal "large units". Thanks for your help!

larger craft
Explanation:
I have nothing whatsoever on which to base my suggestion, other than the assumption that "unité" means a boat, and the fact that "craft" is a pretty general term, but with a more nautical ring to it than "unit"

neutral  Tony M: I'd be wary of "vessel", as it rather conjures up "ship", while this is clearly sometimes being used also for fairly ordinary "large boats"

-> it's all relative, I think the OED definition exlpains it well, also cf wikipedia
