While I do not see where your translation "multiple elements of identical type," came from (i.e. I do not see its counterpart as long as your quote concerened), you have the context and you have the larger picture. So I believe you are on the right track.

Asker: I`m thinking of going with ". "Pairing" means, multiple elements of identical type, closely arranged on one semiconductor baseplate, regarding the qualities of those elements, aligns production error and fluctuations that accompany temperature variation". What do you think?
