Pas de problème de sens, mais je cherche à bien formuler ce bout de phrase... Il s'agit d'un nouveau groupe bancaire après fusion-acquisition:
"Je vous rappelle que XXX, c'est Xxx enrichie d’apports du Groupe Yyy et qui a adopté sa nouvelle dénomination sociale au terme de l’assemblée générale du 17 novembre dernier

You could change the way that it has been written. Apport is normally a gain / contribution, although the French doesn't run very smoothly.

You could try something like:

I would like to remind you that XX has been strengthened by joining forces with Group YY, adopting a new status during the AGM on 17th November......

Not sure status is the right word, but you might have that bit already

or more literal

I would like to remind you that XX has been strengthened by a positive contribution from Group YY / by (positive) gains from Group YY

disagree  rkillings: Apport is not a gain in the accounting sense, but rather a 'capital contribution', meaning a transfer of assets in exchange for an equity stake. I don't disagree with Julie's suggested reformulation, and I would avoid the word 'contribution' here.

  -> I had understood assets not a purely financial aspect, so maybe gains def. isn't the right wording, although I still think that joining forces is fine.
