French term or phrase: remontées avec retour ski aux pieds
Située à X (town), à proximité immédiate des remontées avec retour ski aux pieds et à
200 m du centre et des commerces

Just a bit confused because most references are to remontées mécaniques - the ski-lifts. Is remontées here still the lifts or the slopes? thanks

Explanation:
I think they mean that you are close to the ski lifts AND you can ski back to your hotel doorstep (rather than trudge along a road or take a bus).

Explanation:
This popular ski-in, ski-out hotel is superbly located opposite the nursery and Bellevarde slopes, less than 50 metres from the nearest ski lift, and in the centre of Val d’Isere near the shops and bars.

Certainly this phrase is in fairly common use as meaning you dont take yer skis off until you get to the door of your accomodation and you can ski off from your doorstep

Sorry it should of course be 'accommodation' but the 'yer' is a joke.

agree  Christopher Erdal (X): OK for ski-in, but it doesn't actually say you can ski-out TO the ski-lifts!
