The opportunities presented by the artist's originality Explanation: I think "opportunity" goes better in the plural in English, and the artist could of course be male or female, so rather than saying "his/her" or "their", I'd use "the artist". -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 15 hrs (2006-10-08 14:35:09 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Using the sense of "timeliness", I think you would need to say something like "the historian must....reflect upon how appropriate the artist's originality appears these days..." (only a first draft!) |
