valve element stem Explanation: Hi The filling valve contains an element that opens or closes the flow of liquid to the container. The rear part of the element has the shape of a rod and is usually called a stem. Sometimes an "otturatore" is called a "shutter" but I think this is incorrect in your context although your manufacturer may be happier with this term because it is a more typical translation.
