Explanation:
IT è l'abbreviazione di Information Technology. In inglese c'è stato 5 anni fa circa un termine INFORMATICS, ma è stato abbandonato per passare ad un più bello IT.
Nei molti giornali e riviste settoriali è facile leggere IT e anche ICT cioè (Information and Communication Technology)che vengono spesso lasciati invariati.
Se proprio è necessario tradurlo, userei informatica.
