When the onboard instruments are fitted/installed (if this is a sentence) Explanation: Context is everything.... The reason I asked about whether it was part of a sentence (above) was because, if this IS part of sentence, such as: 車載器取付け状態でなんとかかんとか。。。。。 then I would probably omit the 状態 and just phrase it as something like: "When the onboard instruments are fitted/installed, (blah blah blah...)" However, if this is a column label in a Table or something like that, then it may depend again. If (guessing again) this is a Yes/No column asking whether a particular model car has these instruments installed or not, then perhaps just "Onboard Instruments" followed by a check or a cross in the column.... If it's a column that just asks whether or not a particular car has these instruments fitted (eg. at a mechanic's workshop, in a production line checklist, etc.....), then perhaps sthg like "Onboard Instruments? (Y/N)" Sorry - lots of guessing and assumptions here... One other thing...I'm not sure exactly what kind of instruments you're dealing with, but "mounted ON the car" makes it sound (to me) like the device is on the roof or mounted somewhere on the car's exterior. It may be better to say "mounted ON the dashboard" (if they're sitting _on top of_ the dash there) but otherwise perhaps wording like "fitted (or installed?) in the dashboard." (although here I'm assuming it's something like an onboard computer that records distance travelled, or whatever). Otherwise, if it's a "pull-out" type device, like some older GPS's, etc., then perhaps "attached TO." |
