Hanife i hodhi Drites nje top debore.


Explanation:
It is the sentence context and the choice of words in it, particularly the use of the verb "throw", that made me decide on the way I translated it. It is obvious that Hanife and Drita are playing in the snow and Hanife throws a snowball at her. I remember a song Vace Zela used to sing and I am sure most of Albanians do, too. She used the expression: ...Topa bore hedhin shoket tane...

neutral  Eva T: "Hanife" is in the Indefinite Mode. When it goes Definite, the letter "e" drops and it becomes "Hanifja". Similar occurrences: Sabrije-Sabrija (and not Sabrijeja), Manushaqe – Manushaqja (and not Manushaqeja), Rukije-Rukija (and not Rukijeja) etj.

  -> I think there is an exception in some names, which do not require J in the Indefinite Mode like Hanife, Hatixhe, Salihe, etj. However, the general rule states that the "e" is dropped when the name is in Definite Mode
