Jeśli chodzi tutaj (a tak przypuszczam) o nadzór autorski przy budowie to nie można tego tłumaczyć dosłownie.
Nadzór autorski to nadzór projektanta na budowie, majacy na celu zapewnienie realizacji inwestycji zgodnie z projektem i pozwoleniem na budowę.
W Niemczech to właśnie Objektüberwachung, patrz http://www.architektur-lexikon.de/lexikon/objektueberwachung... , i należy do zakresu prac projektanta.
Wrzucanie do tego słowa inspektor będzie moim zdaniem brzmiało niezrozumiale.
