This term comes from a résumé. The person volunteered for a post where their duties included "Atención al público" at an information counter.

Yes, I know that this is normally "customer service" or some such, except that in this case it is about an information desk at a hospital, so "customer service" hardly seems appropriate. It is also not "patient services", since this person dealt with everybody: patients, staff, visitors, suppliers, etc.

I just can't seem to find a term that fits!
