droppings Explanation: Thank you for taking the trouble to re-open this question, I understand that these are little droppings, probably excrement, that the turtles leave as the move along, giving scientists clues about their habits. I suggest"droppings" because if they are not specifically excrement (which I suspect they are), the translation is still sufficiently vague not to get you in trouble. |
