| reserved descriptions (当局）規制による(商品）説明 Explanation: descriptionsは説明するまでもないと思います。そこでreservedですが、これはhttp://www2.alc.co.jp/ejr/index.php?word_in=reserved&word_in... などを見ても、ソク分かりやすい訳語が見当たりません。 ですが、EEC legal definitions ともなれば、つまりは政府当局、関係当局によるdefinitions(規定）のもとに、その規制によるレシピによって作ったチョコレートであることをひとびとに知ってもらわなければならないわけですよね。 そう考えてこういう表現にたどり着きましたがいかがなものでしょうか? |

| reserved descriptions 専用名称 Explanation: あまり詳しいことは知らないのですが、reserved descriptionは、実質的には商品の名称のようなものではないでしょうか。 http://www.cornwall.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=4971 だとすると「専用名称」でいかがでしょうか。 他には、ワインの「統制呼称」に倣って「統制表示」や「規制呼称」というような訳も可能かと思いました。 -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 6 hrs (2006-07-06 00:17:00 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- 上に書いたリンクがうまく機能していないようなので、引用しておきます。 Reserved descriptions are controlled sales names and the Regulations provide that honey offered for sale to the ultimate consumer or a catering establishment may not be described using a reserved description unless it meets the relevant specifications laid down in the Regulations. Additionally, reserved descriptions are "names prescribed by law" for the purposes of the Food Labelling Regulations 1996. Therefore when selling a specified honey product the name used must be (or include) a reserved description. |
