Hi folks
I'm translating a play in which one of the characters sings this lullaby, am not sure what is meant by the second line: have even wondered if it is incomplete. Any ideas gratefully received! Thanks in advance

Coinsidering your context, I think I'd just put something like "gold coin". Since this is poetry, I don't think the specific denomination of the coin is important: it is just the concept of a very valuable coin that the author wants to convey.
