Bus/Financial - Energy / Power Generation / power supply contract
Spanish term or phrase: suministro (in this context)
This term is used in a contract for supplying electrical power to an industrial plant. Throughout the contract, all of the clauses refer to the electrical power as "El Suministro", but translating it as "The Supply" seems rather clumsy to me, and I'm looking for a better way.

Here are a few examples:

Service
Explanation:
In some cases you could use supply, but I would recommend just going with "Service":

Contrato de Suministro = Service Contract
Fecha de Inicio del Suministro = Service Commencement Date
El precio por el Suministro = The price for Service
el precio pactado por el Suministro de cada mes = the agreed price for each month's Service
con el Suministro, materia del presente Contrato = with the Service included under this Contract

The "Service", of course, is supplying electric power.

Whenever there is some awkwardness in the translation, I like to bracket a supplemental term that will clarify the meaning and make it a better translation in English.

Supply (dispense with 'the')

Explanation:
Supply is what it is - my suggestion would be to dispense with 'the', giving 'supply price', 'supply start date', etc.
