peer agreement (net): +2quota value Explanation: I entirely agree with quincey's suggestion, but disagree with his reference, which is why I am giving the same answer. Quincey's quota value is a system to raise the price that Canadian farmers can obtain - basically a price-fixing mechanism (very similar to the frequent calls for price-fixing in our translation business). However, in a Swedish context, it means something very different. It is a newly introduced system, in which the nominal value of a share is replaced by the quota value, which is the share capital divided by the number of shares. See ref. I agree that quotient makes better mathematical sense, but unfortunately there is widespread disagreement. My favourite financial dictionary FAR gives quotient value first, then quota value, then implied book value.
