Dzięki serdeczne, ta odpowiedź BARDZO mi się przydała, zwłaszcza, że istniało jeszcze inne, bardzo logiczne i niemal tak samo zgodne z kontekstem całego tekstu tłumaczenie tego wyrażenia: "z jedną warstwą lepiszcza". Horror, czyż nie?!
