If this is investment banking, then we are dealing with the "patrimoine" of businesses or similar entities. Accordingly, I'd say tentatively that this is lending secured on the "worth" of a business, and I'm even wondering whether this is a **fixed** charge on the assets of a business (as opposed to a **fixed and floating charge** which charges not only the capital worth (net worth) of a business, but also the circulating assets, i.e. debtors, stocks, cash and bank balances...)
