I think that "regulatory" is closer to "coordinating" rather than "legal".

neutral  Drmanu49: moniteur is more related to instructors... but for a specific position you are right event though I prefer "moniteur d'études cliniques". I also thing regulatory is "régulateur" or "coordonateur"

  -> Désolé mais la fonction de moniteur d'études cliniques recouvre une fonction (assez) précise dans le cas de la recherche biomédicale. Il s'agit d'un anglicisme validé de "monitor" et n'a rien à voir avec le monitorat. Cf la ref de l'anrs
