creo que suena extraño porque todos lo hemos interpretado en singular y en este caso "you" es plural (para tener más sentido). No hay contexto pero no me imagino encontrarme por la calle con una amiga o subirme al asecensor y saludar al vecino de esa forma. Es más bien el estilo de una "autoridad" (la maestra, el jefe, el líder del grupo) dirigiéndose a un grupo...
