Die Gestellung beinhaltet die

* Mitteilung an die Zollbehörden,
* in der vorgeschriebenen Form,
* dass sich Waren bei der Zollstelle oder einem anderen von den Zollbehörden bezeichneten oder zugelassenen Ort befinden (Artikel 4 Nr. 19 ZK).

Diese Mitteilung ist innerhalb der dafür festgesetzten Öffnungszeiten der Zollstelle abzugeben (§ 4 Abs. 1 ZollVG).
