Japanese term or phrase: 再生
The whole sentence is:
私たちは、IT・再生の融合する分野を事業ドメインとしています。

I translated it as "revitalization," but I don't really like the way it sounds.

English translation:Sustainability or 3Rs
Explanation:
Hmmmm...this is tough. I see the term is from a catchphrase-like title of a webpage.

The word 再生 encapsulates several corresponding terms in English, (recycle, revitalize, renew, regenerate, etc). In current parlance, such concepts are collectively referred to as “sustainability”, “sustainable development”, or the “3Rs” (typically reduce, reuse, recycle, but I see this website uses a different set.)

In order to turn this phrase into a natural sounding title in English, I came up with the following options:
* Developing solutions that integrate IT and sustainability.
* Developing solutions that integrate the 3Rs with IT.
* Leveraging IT for sustainable applications: renew, recycle and rental.
* Integrating IT for sustainable solutions.

Something like this.

Hope this helps.

agree  Kurt Hammond: Rock on. Also good point about the 'dot' - as you note, it means that they are blending "IT and sustainability", not "revitalizing IT".
